Large thoracic Tumor in a child
This 3 yr girl presented with cough and fever for a month’s duration. On investigation, she was found to have a large right sided thoracic Tumor which partially collapsed the lung lobes on that side. CT scan showed that the Tumor was attached to right bronchus, pulmonary artery and the brachiocephalic vein. She underwent thoracotomy uneventfully and the entire Tumor was removed. She was extubated after ventilation for 12 hours.
